Product information
The fibres used in the garment are naturally flame resistant and this will
not fade with washing. This comfortable hooded sweatshirt offers
protection against electric arc. The handy pouch pockets at the front of the
garment provide hand warming and ample storage.
Modaflame®
Garments can be layered to achieve an overall Arc Thermal Performance
Value (ATPV) or Energy Break open threshold (Ebt) Rating. For example,
thermals may achieve an Ebt of 4.3 cal/cm2, and an outer coverall may
achieve an ATPV of 13.6cal/cm2. However the combination ATPV will be
greater than the sum of the two single layers, as the air gap between the
two layers affords the wearer additional protection.
